Down in the Swamps of Louisiana
My paintings playfully explore the mysteries of Louisiana swamps. I imagine sneaking up and pushing back the native palmetto plants to reveal what can't be seen on a swamp tour. Many of my paintings have a futuristic outlook on the movement of communities due to climate change and wetland loss.
